My family and I have been proud to call Fairfax City home since 2020. Living here with my husband, two stepchildren, and our sweet pup, Clover, has shown us what makes our community so special. With our parks, events, and local businesses, I’m constantly reminded of the warmth and character that make Fairfax such a wonderful place to live.

I've always been someone who wants to understand why something works and how to make it work better. This passion led me to the University of Michigan where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences.

Over the past 20 years, I put that technical training to work for the U.S. government and applied that same analytical, data-driven mindset into program and leadership roles across Fortune 50 companies, always focused on solving challenging operational problems in technology and environment. Throughout my career, I've built efficient processes, developed high-performing teams, and helped organizations save money by making thoughtful decisions about how to use their resources.

Beyond my corporate work, I serve on the board of Earth League International, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting endangered species, and stay actively involved in important city and community conversations.

Years of managing complex budgets and leading large teams have taught me that good leadership comes down to a few basic principles: listening closely, acting with integrity, communicating openly, and bringing common-sense solutions to the discussion.

I am running for Fairfax City Council because I believe we can work better together to make decisions that benefit everyone. Throughout my career, I've learned that the best solutions come from listening first, working collaboratively, and making decisions based on facts. That's the approach I'll bring to City Council, focused on residents and long-term results instead of short-term politics.
