Meet Jessica

Hi, I’m Jessica Lough—and I’m running for Fairfax City Council because I believe our community deserves better representation.

Too often, community input is treated as a formality, not a foundation. Residents are asked for feedback only after key decisions are already made and when concerns are raised, they’re ignored.

That’s not engagement. That’s exclusion.

I’m not tied to party politics or special interests. I answer only to the people of Fairfax. I believe leadership means listening first, especially to renters, young adults, middle-income families, and long-time residents who’ve been left out of the process. It means acting with integrity, supporting a binding City Council Code of ethics, and being transparent about how decisions are made.

I’ll bring back on-the-ground listening and real accountability. Because growth shouldn’t come at the cost of community.

Fairfax deserves a government that works with us. Not over us.

I’m running to make sure every voice is heard, and every decision reflects our shared values and is backed up by facts.

Thank you for being part of this movement.
